Back To School 2000-2001

It's time again to get the kids ready to return to school. Has everyone finished their Harry Potter books? There will be a lot of hustle and bustle until things get settled. Whether its PS 35, Jamaica High, or St. John's University there's a lot to do.

It's time again to get the kids ready to return to school. Has everyone finished their Harry Potter books? There will be a lot of hustle and bustle until things get settled. Whether its PS 35, Jamaica High, or St. John's University there's a lot to do.

Parents are likely to feel the stress. Many are returning from wonderful vacations and time off from work. It's hard to forget the sun and fun and travel to far away places. You have to work hard at getting back into your own routine. That's precisely what makes it difficult to attend to getting the kids squared away. If your kids are lucky enough to attend a local school like St. John's University the task may be just a little bit easier. The dorms aren't 100 miles away so you don't have to rent a U-Haul or overstuff your car to help them move in one trip. Also, St. John's students have coupons-on-the-net to help them keep their (and your) back-to-school expenses down. Just remember to keep your chin up high and be patient during this time. It too shall pass and things will return to normal. Thank goodness this only happens once a year!
